Potato and cauliflower croquettes

cauliflower-1

Today it's cauliflower in the shape of a croquette. In Itala the croquettes (croquettes) are not made with béchamel. They are made with potatoes so the only thing they have in common with the usual ones is the shape and the batter.

I see it as one harvest recipe. They usually have grated cheese and egg so that the rest of the ingredients (with the potato as the protagonist) integrate well.

In this case I wanted to use some cauliflower florets that I had cooked in order to make this vegetable a little more attractive for the little ones.

Why else could we substitute cauliflower?

      Hello Mara,
You can substitute it for another vegetable already cooked and well drained. You will tell us if you dare to prepare a new version 🙂
      A hug!

Hello Ascension! I love your recipes. It is in particular that I would like to make it, but my daughters do not like fried foods so I would like to grill them. How should it be done?

Hello Ana, thank you very much 🙂
You can bake them at 180º for approximately 15 minutes. I leave you the link of other (traditional) croquettes in case it might interest you: http://www.thermorecetas.com/croquetas-de-pescado-al-horno/
