In reality, all honeyed rice, and also the soups, should be consumed immediately, because if not, the rice swells, the broth disappears and they have nothing to do with the initial result

We can do it with chicken, with mince and even with bits of sausage y blood sausage. I made it with chicken, as it was initially for the children and they like milder flavors, although in the end we all ate them delighted. It was delicious.

Ingredients

200g short grain rice
800 ml of chicken broth (or 800 ml of water and a pill and a half of chicken broth)
125 g of chicken, chopped without bones (or if you take advantage of the broth, 150 g of cooked chicken, chopped without bones)
100 g onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 spoonful of fried tomato
200 g pumpkin
50 ml oil
shawl
half a teaspoon of paprika
saffron or food coloring

Preparation

We put 50 ml of oil in the glass and heat it for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
Add the garlic cloves and the chopped onion. We chop during 5 seconds at speed 5. Then we fry for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
Peel and cut the pumpkin into large pieces.
Add the fried tomato, pumpkin, chicken and half a teaspoon of salt. We chop during 20 seconds at speed 4. And we fry for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
Add the paprika, the saffron sachet or the food coloring and the rice. We fry the rice for 3 minutes, 100º, spoon speed, left turn.
Add the broth and cook for 9 minutes, Varoma temperature, spoon speed, left turn. With beaker.
We taste and rectify the salt. We remove the beaker and continue cooking for 5 minutes, 100º, spoon speed, left turn.
We serve immediately.

Notes

The chicken can be from any part of the chicken, we put it without bones because we are going to chop it. You can change the chicken for minced meat or for tender sausage (sausage is also called in some areas) and onion black pudding. We would add the same amounts and add it at the same time as the chicken.
