We keep giving you ideas for tomorrow. Today's recipe is for salmon. We will cook it steamed together with some orange slices that will give it a lot of flavor and we will accompany it with a salad.

What do you not celebrate Valentine's Day!? Well, prepare it anyway, especially if you like the orange.

When you cook the salmon en papillote and steamed you will have to take into account two things: your personal taste -if you like it more or less done- and the thickness of the fillet. Start by programming a short time so that it is to your liking and go controlling the cooking with care always not to burn yourself.

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh salmon fillets (can be frozen if defrosted in advance)
  • 15 g of extra virgin olive oil and a little more for the plating
  • Sal Island
  • 2 oranges (one sliced ​​and one sliced)
  • 30 g of mixed nuts
  • 40 g orange juice
  • 2 anchovies in oil
  • 600 g of water
  • 150 g of lettuce, arugula ... to accompany

Preparation

  1. Grease two sheets of greaseproof paper with oil. We put a salmon fillet on each of them, we salt it and we place two orange slices on each portion of salmon. We close by making two packages, leaving the closures in the lower part.

  2. We put both packages in the varoma container. We put the tray on top and then the lid.

  3. We put the nuts in the glass. We program 3 seconds, speed 7. Add the orange juice, the anchovies and the oil. We program 20 seconds, speed 6. We take out a small container and reserve. 

  4. We put the water in the glass. We place the varoma in its position and program 15 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1. Here the time will depend on how you like the salmon cooked. If you like little done, start with 10 minutes to see if it is to your liking. To cook it more there is always time. Of course, be careful not to burn yourself. It will also depend on the thickness of the fillets. If they are thin they will need less time.

  5. Now it will only be necessary to mount the plate. We put the salmon on the plates and we accompany it with the lettuce, the sauce and the orange in segments. If we want, we add a drizzle of olive oil on the salad.

Notes

Another option to make the sauce:

  • We chop the nuts and reserve (3 seconds, speed 7)
  • Now we emulsify the oil with the juice and the anchovies (20 seconds, speed 6)
Once the salmon is done, we serve it with this orange oil and put the chopped nuts on top.
