Salted leek and mushroom cake

salty-tart-leek-and-mushrooms

It is always a good idea to keep a sheet of puff pastry and / or breeze pasta. They can get us out of trouble because with them we can prepare both sweet and savory recipes. In this case it is salty: leek, mushrooms and bacon.

In addition to these ingredients we will use eggs and liquid cream. And, depending on your tastes, you can serve it fresh from the oven, warm or cold, like any quiche.

If you want to use the roller, do not hesitate to make the base yourself. I leave you some links, to see what you think: a base made with wine (no egg, animal fats or lactose) y this one with cheese.

Very appetizing mixture of the filling! I have a question, in some quiche recipes they recommend baking the dough if I fill it for a few minutes, is it essential? In your recipe I understand that you put the filling in the dough without having baked it before. Thanks! I want to try it.

      Hello Rocio,
Yes, sometimes it is done as you say and it is called "cooking in white" but this is not the case and everything is baked at the same time.
I hope you like it 😉
      Take care!
