You put an envelope of chemical yeast. Is it that of the cakes, for example royal yeast, or that of an envelope of baker's yeast?

I want to do it because it has to be great.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Mari Carmen. It is the one for sponge cakes, for example Royal yeast. All the best.

    Hello!
I'm a fan of yours, so much -.— so much that I can tell you that I eat thanks to you hahaha nooooooo !!! Really really, but look, I am writing to you to thank you for your recipes, because I have a big problem but big big big or at least it seems to me. I have the Th 21 and I have a 7-month-old girl. I have made your vegetable and chicken puree as well as for baby food, well it remains with lumps, why? why? The baby does not want it, how do I make the texture of the baby food remain? Because in those that are in other recipe sites, the same thing happens, it remains rough, I don't know… I'm terrible, I need help, please tell me something in my email if it could be…! »!!! I'M DESPERATEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! »!!!

    1.    Silvia said

Ary, I find it a little weird that you have lumps. If there is something the thermomix has, it is that it can leave anything totally crushed.
I don't know if you would have to add a little water to it, don't worry about adding it last. As Arguiñano says: "puree is one of the few things that can admit more water at the end." Even if you have the T-21, it has to fit you perfectly. I had it before buying the T-31 and it was going great.
At the end of the puree, let it warm up a little and grind for 1 minute to 5, then set it for 2 minutes at progressive speed 5-7-9. And if it does not grind you as you wish, take half of the puree into another container and grind it twice.

The first time I made a salty cake they looked at me with a strange face but they loved it although that if I prefer to do it when I have guests so I don't eat it by myself, little trip after little trip haha

    1.    Silvia said

You are right Raquel, these things are better to make for guests, because otherwise we end up eating the cook ...

  6.   ARY said

Silvia, a million thanks ... but nothing is that they are not lumps, it is as if there are strands or something strange because then I have passed it through the Chinese and it has become super liquid like a soup and my daughter does not eat it I am desperate please! !!!!
It is not because it remains so will it be for the chicken? I do not know joepeeeeee

  7.   ARY said

Look, I'm sorry Silvia and also that I have forgotten…. I need to know why it doesn't look like the texture of the baby food, which is like a pasta. I don't understand it, it was the same for you. jolin what despair
    Thank you

    1.    Silvia said

Ary, to make you look like the baby food, use less water, because they are somewhat thick. You don't have to stick with strands and I don't think it's the chicken, but just in case make a vegetable-only cream. I don't know if you have it, but Thermomix has a simple book of baby foods and I usually make the porridges with the ideas in that book and my daughters love them and since I already know it I usually improvise and make some delicious purees with any ingredient that keep by the fridge.
He encouraged and proved again that you sure hit the point, in the end!
      All the best

Thank you very much Silvia, I will try to do the potito again today but with chicken for the second time, I will tell you ... I will try to do it again. Thank you very much. All the best.

I have made the recipe and it has come out like a stuffed bread, and I have a mathematical doubt, you have put 100 gr. of milk and the liquid cannot be in grams, it is an error and it is 100 ml ???
or the recipe comes out as a stuffed bun

    1.    Elena said

Hello Rosa, we put the amount in grams because it is how the weight of the Thermomix measures it, but it is the same. The cake is half sponge cake, half bread. I don't know how to explain it, that I eat a juicy bread. Did you like it?

  10.   Susana said

I am looking forward to trying this cake. In what type of mold do you make it? I have silicone but it gives me the feeling that when I make the cakes there they do not rise as much as when I make them in containers of another material? Will it look good on me if I do it on the silicone one?
    Thank you

    1.    Elena said

Susana, I do it in plum-cake molds, but not silicone. You can try aluminum plum-cake molds, the disposable ones. I hope you like it. All the best.

I have doubts: is it yeast (biological ferment) or chemical baking powder ???

    1.    Silvia said

Graciela is the chemical baking powder as you call her.

The oven for the salty cake of ham, olives and walnuts has to be up and down or only with a resistance, thank you!

    1.    Silvia said

Montse, I usually put it half the time only on the bottom and the other half on the bottom and top.

  17.   montse said

Hi Silvia, yesterday I made the cake, and it was delicious! I did it in a plum cake mold and with parchment paper. I didn't have ham and I put turkey cubes in it. It's easy and great! Thank you so much for helping those of us who are new to Thermomix!

Hello Silvia, I did it this Saturday, it turned out quite well, but for my taste a little bland. Doesn't it have salt? or sugar? Next time I'll try some of this anyway, I'm telling you, it turned out pretty good, a kiss and thanks for the recipes.

  23.   Carmen said

Hello Silvia: I also got a bit bland. Shouldn't you put some salt in it? What kind of cheese do you use? I get pretty hard on the outside, like a scab. I don't know if I did it well because it looks very good and they don't like me at all at home.
