Little by little it is no longer a problem to turn on the oven ... You want to prepare savory tarts, like today, which we can later consume both hot and cold.

With this type of cake we can take advantage of the vegetables that we have at home and bring them to the table in an original way that even the little ones tend to like a lot.

La base mass we can do it ourselves (here is the wine dough recipe... very good) or buy it already made. You can use puff pastry, shortbread ... the one you like the most or the one you have at home.

A very simple salty cake made with aubergine, peppers, tomato ... Simple and attractive.

Ingredients

  • 20 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 medium aubergine (about 300 g)
  • 1/2 red pepper
  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and drained
  • Some basil leaves
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper
  • 1 sheet of shortcrust pastry or puff pastry
  • Bread crumbs
  • Grated cheese

Preparation

  1. We clean the vegetables and cut them into cubes. We reserve them.

  2. We put the olive oil and garlic in the glass. We program 3 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  3. We remove the garlic. Add the chopped vegetables, basil leaves, salt and pepper. We program 10 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1, left turn.

  4. We spread the dough on a mold of about 28 cm in diameter, covered with baking paper or previously greased.

  5. We put the bread and grated cheese on the dough and then the vegetables that we have cooked in the Thermomix. We spread them with a spoon.

  6. Bake at 180º (preheated oven) for approximately 30 minutes, until we see that it is golden.

  7. We serve hot or cold, as we like best.
