Sausage and tomato dumplings

Dumplings with bread dough

These sausage patties are made with bread dough. They are stuffed with sausage and tomato (which we can replace with mozzarella) and can be fried or baked.

Baked are healthier and simpler because we stain less and avoid risks. If we decide to fry them, we have to make sure that the filling does not have liquid and that the dumplings are well sealed.

    Any changes if whole wheat flour is used?

      Hi Francesc! Maybe you need a tad more water... I would put about 10 grams more. If when you have kneaded you see that it is very dry, that it cannot be worked, then add a little more and knead again. Normally whole wheat flour absorbs more water.
