Make vegetable cream in Thermomix it is so simple that many nights it is the first course of our dinner.

Today we have prepared it with seasonal vegetables so the pumpkin cannot be missing. I have not complicated myself too much and I have cooked with water, without broth or milk. In this way it is soft, light and very rich.

In this case I have accompanied it with a few pieces of toasted bread, not fried. I have toasted some slices of bread in the toaster and then I have chopped them with the serrated knife. In this way, with toasted bread, we stain less and add fewer calories to the dish.

Ingredients

  • 35 g onion
  • 20 g olive oil
  • 220 g pumpkin
  • 125 g carrot
  • 200 g broccoli
  • 115 g of potato
  • 300 g of water
  • Sal Island

Preparation

  1. We put the onion and oil in the glass. We program 7 seconds, speed 5. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  2. We remove the beaker and program 3 minutes, 120º, spoon speed.

  3. Add the diced pumpkin, the peeled and diced carrot, the broccoli in florets (you can also add the trunk, removing the outer part), the potato, the water and the salt. Holding the beaker we activate the machine during 3 seconds at speed 5. We lower with the spatula what has been left on the walls of the glass. We program next 30 minutes, 95º, speed 1.

  4. We shred programming 1 minute, progressive speed 5-10.

  5. We put more water (or even milk) if we consider it necessary and mix.

  6. We serve the warm cream, if we want, with toasted bread.
