Simple tart with red berries and apple

Preparation

1. The first thing we will do is the pastry cream, so that it is cold when we are going to use it. We can do it a few hours before preparing the cake or the day before. To make it, we put all the ingredients of it in the glass and program 7 minutes, 90º, speed 4. We take out and reserve. We wash and dry the glass.

2. Grease and flour a mold of about 26 centimeters in diameter (better if it is removable).

3. We put the flour and salt in the clean and cold glass. We add the cold butter in pieces.

4. We add the ice water and integrate everything quickly with three or four turbo strokes.

5. We remove the dough from the glass. We make a ball with our hands, without kneading it so that it does not get hot.

6. We wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

7. After that time we take out the dough. We reserve a piece (whatever we want to use for the surface) and spread the rest.

8. To spread the dough we will use a rolling pin and two sheets of greaseproof paper.

9. We place the dough spread on our mold, greased and floured previously, about 26 centimeters in diameter. We reserve in the fridge.

10. We put the berries in a bowl, with the sugar and cornstarch. We also peel and chop an apple and add it. We add the sugar and the cornstarch.

11. We mix everything with the spatula.

12. To assemble the cake, we put the pastry cream on the dough that we have spread and already in the mold. On that pastry cream we add the mixture of fruit, sugar and cornstarch that we have in the bowl.

13. If we have reserved a little dough for decoration or if we have left over because it protruded from the walls of the mold, we now use it for decoration. We can make strips and place them on the fruit as we like or use a pasta cutter and put the shapes that we make on the surface. Brush the dough with beaten egg and sprinkle sugar on the surface.

14. Bake at 220º (preheated oven) for approximately 15 minutes. After that time, we lower the oven to 190º and leave the cake at that temperature for approximately 50 minutes.
