Sponge cake for breakfast

We have already started with the school routine and what it entails: the lunch that the children eat at mid-morning. With homemade cakes like this we can give the little ones a joy from time to time fleeing from the industrial bakery.
Today's is a sponge cake in the shape of a plum cake ideal for the breakfast, either at home or at school. I have put some pieces of Pears in wine I did following the steps of the apples in white wine, but you can substitute this ingredient for chocolate chips or candied fruit.

    Hello!!! I know by mistela a homemade liquor that is made with rum or also with brandy, sugar and flavors! It starts to marinate fruit peels (orange, lemon, pineapple etc)
