Ingredients
- 850 g of wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 60 g of sugar
- 375 ml whole milk
- 75 ml of aceite oliva
- the skin of a lemon
- 40 g baking powder
- 15 ml anise liqueur
- 1 pinch of salt
- 300 ml of sunflower oil to fry the donuts
- half bowl of sugar
- A small plate of wheat flour
Preparation
In our Thermomix glass we put the 60 g of sugar and the skin of the lemon. We schedule it for 10 seconds at speed 7.
Add the 2 eggs and program 3 minutes at 37 ° at speed 4.
Add the 375 ml of whole milk, the 15 ml of anise liqueur, the 40 g of dry yeast and the pinch of salt. Gradually add the wheat flour. As it is a lot, we can take 3 batches of flour and we knead it in batches of 2 minutes at kneading speed.
It should be a smooth and non-sticky dough. If you think it is too sticky, add a little more flour and knead a little more.
We take the dough and we are taking round portions with our hands. We ball between our hands, if the dough sticks to our hands a little, we can coat it with a little flour. We shape into a ball and flatten.
We put our finger in the center of the dough and we form the donut. We are moving aside the donuts that we are making and we heat the oil in a pan.
Let the oil heat up over medium heat and add the donuts. We brown them on both sides. The idea is not to put too much heat when frying them because they will brown very quickly and remain raw inside.
When they are fried, we will coat them with sugar. We will serve them cold or warm.
