If you have at home tandoori masala, that traditional mixture of Indian spices, you can take advantage of it to make different breads. They are fluffy, very tender, with the flavor of this mix of spices.

These buns can be used to prepare Snacks (with grilled chicken and roasted peppers will be a show) or as an accompaniment to your meals. 

But don't use the oven just for this. Take advantage of the fact that you light it to make a rich cake or to finish recipes like this pasta and potato gratin.

Ingredients

  • 200 g of water
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • 10 g fresh baker's yeast
  • 150 g flour
  • 180 g of bread flour
  • 20 g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Tandori
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Preparation

  1. Put the water, sugar and yeast in the glass. We program 20 seconds, speed 2. 

  2. Add the flours, the oil, the half teaspoon of tandoori and the salt. We program 2 minutes, spike speed.

  3. We take the dough out of the glass. We compact it with our hands and form a ball.

  4. Grease a bowl with oil and place the dough in it. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a clean cloth.

  5. Let rise for approximately 1 hour.

  6. Divide the dough into 4 portions. We form a ball with each portion and place them on a baking sheet that we will have covered with baking paper, leaving space between them.

  7. Crush each of the balls well with your hands. 

  8. Cover again with the plastic or with the cloth and let rise another 15 minutes.

  9. We preheat the oven to 200º.

  10. Bake at that temperature for approximately 15 minutes, until the loaves begin to brown.
