Crepes

Thermomix crêpes recipe

Crepes is the typical recipe that I usually prepare at home some Sunday afternoon that we are calm and maybe the weather is not good or we have taken advantage of the morning so much, going out to the country with the girls and having a snack with the neighbors, that we are exhausted and we want something sweet to share with the family.

The crepes are very thin pancakes, they can be sweet or salty. They can be eaten as a dessert or a snack or even as a main dish if we fill them with something salty such as ham, cheese, salmon, vegetables, béchamel ...

I remember that they had given me a crepe maker and it was still brand new. My sister came home with her boy and my cousin. The girls were crazy to have company to play with, so it was the ideal time to premiere it and make some crepes for all tastes.

We made them sweet but each one stuffed according to your tastes, so in the end we had a great variety. They are so versatile that they look good with fresh fruit or in syrup, dried apricots, raisins, ice cream of different flavors, nuts, chocolate, almonds, cream, syrups, jams, liquid caramel, etc.

If you don't have a crepe maker, you can still make them in a frying pan That it is not very used so that they do not stick a lot. Although before adding the scoop of dough, I recommend that you always brush the pan with butter and that way they come out perfect.

First of all, congratulations Silvia for your blog, I love it there is not a day that I do not look at your blog to see your wonderful recipes, the truth is that I have been using thrmomix for a very short time and I lack experience.
Well, I would ask you what when filling the crepes that I can do so that the filling does not come out from the bottom.
    Greetings to everyone.

Veronica, the truth is that the filling out is something complicated to solve, let's see if someone sees your question and gives us some idea why it happens to me too.

Hi Silvia, just to tell you that the crepes were amazing. My little ones ate it with chocolate syrup and cream, they are very sweet, but my husband and I tried it with cheese with jam (peach that I had made the day before) and they were exquisite. Thanks

Montse, to make them salty, you can sprinkle salted parsley in the dough and then to fill them they can be ham and cheese, or rucúla, salmon and brie cheese, or mushroom béchamel, etc ...

They are delicious and although those bottles are practical, there is nothing like making it yourself with natural ingredients.

Elena, if you dare to make them ask me for the crepe maker that you already know what the friends are for, to borrow things.
I know you can make them in a pan but it is very comfortable with the crepe maker and they come out great.

    Hello girls,
A little while ago I bought the thermomix, a friend recommended it to me, but since it seemed very expensive and I was not sure how much use it would be, I bought it second-hand.
The best purchase I have made, I make many meals that I would never have dared to make before, my husband and my little one are delighted, every day I look at your recipes and I make many, you are great, the beautiful photos and the delicious recipes, today I go to make crepes that we have a sweet tooth.
One question, I usually make bread with the lidl dough, it comes out perfect but it costs me a lot to clean the glass afterwards because everything sticks, do you have any tricks?

      Hello Nuria:

first of all welcome to the club ... soon you will not be able to live without the Thermomix, you'll see !!

And when it comes to cleaning it, don't worry… it cleans itself almost by itself !! Put in the glass between 1/2 and 1 liter of water (if it is hot better), add a few drops of dishwasher type fairy or mistol. Close the glass, put the beaker and program 2 minutes, 37º, speed 4… you will see how all the dough remains will have been diluted in the water. You just have to go over the lid a bit!

      kisses!
