I encourage you to try this recipe. They are perfect! According to my husband, a lot better than bought.

It's a recipe simple of doing. I made it in the morning, so they would be cold at snack time. Both the girls and we have loved it and are already asking me to do more.

It is such a good recipe that it happens as with jams, once you try the homemade ones you no longer buy them. Well, I think the same thing will happen to me with these peaches, as long as we are in season we will do.

Ingredients

  • 800 g whole peaches
  • 150 g of water
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 5-10 drops of lemon (I have added 10 drops)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Without peeling, we cut the peaches in half (around the bone) and turn each half in a different direction, until they were detached from the bone (it is the same as peeling an avocado, only that in peaches it costs a little more because the meat is more sticky to the bone).

    Next, we peel all the pieces.

  2. We place the butterfly on the blades, add the peaches to the glass, the water, the sugar, the lemon drops and a pinch of salt. We program 15 minutes, varoma temperature, left turn and spoon speed.

  3. We check that the peaches are tender. If not, we program 2 or 3 more minutes, varoma temperature, left turn and spoon speed.

  4. We distribute the peaches in previously sterilized canning jars, trying to make them as full as possible.

    Fill with the syrup leaving only one finger high. We close them and keep them in the fridge.
