Artichokes with ham and beer

Artichokes are one of the vegetables that I like the most, it is also great for diet.

This recipe is from the book Cooking with beer Thermomix®. I have made several changes to make it still lighter.

It can be done with already cooked artichokes and we will only have to make the sauce and add the artichokes a few minutes before the end so that they take on the flavor. I usually do it this way because I don't always remember to buy them natural, I generally have a jar at home and the rest of the ingredients are normal and that I always have on hand.

Well, artichokes are my favorite food in all their versions ... if something has artichokes I already like it!
I always made this recipe with fresh artichokes because I didn't dare with the canned ones for fear that they would be pureed, now I know how to make them!
    Thank you.

I think it's a great recipe, I would like to know if I can use frozen artichoke hearts

    1.    Elena said

Hi Carmen, they can be used, as long as you thaw them beforehand. All the best.

In the case of frozen hearts, would the time be the same? Can you tell me if this dish comes out very soupy? We don't like soupy foods. Thank you and congratulations for the work you do, I love your recipes. All the best

Hello Martha, previously you have to defrost them and the time is the same. It is not a dish that is very soupy. I hope you like it. All the best.
