Marquesas

Marquesas Christmas thermomix recipe

This is one of my favorite sweets at Christmas. I remember Marquesitas that I ate in my childhood every time I visited my grandparents at this time. My grandmother knew they drove me crazy and a box was always exclusively for me.

This year I saw the recipe on the blog of my friends at Speed Spoon and I couldn't resist preparing them. It is a simple recipe to make, in less than half an hour we have some delicious Christmas marquesas, with a presence better than the purchased ones.

My husband says that I have "embroidered" this sweet, they come out with a touch of lemon that feeds. And best of all, it is a recipe that I can also share with my nephews Celiac. So, I already have another idea for our family reunions. I usually keep them in a tin box and they stay tender for a couple of weeks.

Good morning, I did not know these desserts, but they look very good. I want to ask a question, the mixture is put into the paper molds. Won't they bend and everything falls off? Do you need any other support, or not?

    Regards,
    Josep-Maria

Hi Josep, before filling the molds, you place them on a rack or baking tray, and then carefully put them in the oven.

I wanted to ask you some things, although they are not from this recipe. I am “getting time to prepare Christmas meals (like everyone else) and I would like to know if I can prepare in advance and freeze the following dishes: Pedro Ximenez sauce, caramelised onion, candied peppers, the sauce of peppers stuffed with eels. Thank you very much for your time and congratulations for the blog, it is a great help. Happy holidays, Esmeralda.
