Pork tenderloin with orange and cinnamon sauce

In this recipe for pork tenderloin with orange and cinnamon sauce, the salty and sweet flavors are perfectly combined, creating a delicious tandem.

If this Christmas you want to do something different, I recommend you make this recipe. You will surprise your guests, above all, by the rich sauce it contains.

I have taken advantage of the 20 minutes of cooking to cook in levels and prepare some potatoes cooked with Provencal herbs. I place the sirloins in the varoma and, on the varoma tray, the potatoes. This is optional, but this way we get to have a delicious accompaniment at the same time as the rest.

Looking at the recipe, I want to make it, but a little question, once the sirloin is already done, could it be hit in the oven with the sauce on top or a little honey?

    1.    Silvia said

In principle you have no problem and so you can present it on the table very warm, even if you do not make the sirloin much so that later it does not dry out too much.
      All the best

    2.    Elena said

Tisti, I think it will look great like this. I will try it too. Thanks a lot for the suggestion. All the best.

Today I tried this recipe and it is very good, my girls have finished with the loaf of bread, dipping soups in the sauce! The only thing that I have changed is that after grinding the sauce, I have added some raisins, a little diced almond and some toasted pine nuts and I have heated everything for another 5 minutes, temp. varoma, speed 1. I really liked the contrast. A GREETING.

What a good M. Carmen !. I think it's a great idea. I'm sure I'll do it again these parties and I'll give it a try. Thank you.

Girls thanks for your recipes, they are all great. I'm a bit new to the world of Thermomix and cooking (but I love it). I had a question about this recipe. Is it orange juice, can they be brick, Hacendado type or does it have to be natural orange juice? Thank you for your help

    1.    Elena said

Hi Lili, I use natural orange juice because I don't like the canned ones at all and the taste is not the same. I recommend that you do it with the natural one. All the best.

    Hello,
I usually make sirloin with salt in the varoma and my curiosity (in case you know) is if the salt that is used is used for more times, it had not occurred to me to think about it, but today they asked me and I was left with the doubt.
I would like to know what you think.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Marieta, I think it is not useful pq. takes scent. I always throw it away. All the best.

Hello, congratulations on your page, I have made some recipes and they are very good. I wanted to tell you if it is possible to substitute orange juice for lemon juice, I am looking forward to making lemon sirloin for the end of the year. Thank you very much and happy new year to everyone @s.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Marco Antonio, the truth is that I have not tried it with lemon juice, but for this sauce I would not change it since the lemon can make it bitter. The mixture of cinnamon and orange is perfect. Greetings and Happy Holidays!.

We loved this recipe! The only problem was that I forgot to take out the bay leaf and I crushed it too, I don't know if it was because of that but I found the sauce a bit strong for my taste! next time I'll put less orange juice!

    Regards!

    1.    Elena said

It may be because of the bay leaf, but if it seems strong, it is a good solution to take less juice. Greetings and I'm glad you liked it.

Hello Elena, I have made the recipes several times and it has been a success, but it always happens to me that the meat and potatoes get cold right away. It has occurred to me to combine the varoma with finishing the cooking in the oven, both of the meat and the potatoes, in this case how do you think it should distribute the cooking times so that it comes out more or less the same in fact as in your recipe ( which are delicious and tender) and in that case at what temperature should the oven be. Thank you very much and congratulations for this fantastic website !!!!

    1.    Elena said

Hello Javier, the truth is that I have not tried it like this and I cannot tell you the oven times. I guess it's a matter of testing. Greetings and I am very happy that you like our blog.

Hi, I'm crazy about this recipe but the sauce has been very liquid, how can I make it thicker? Greetings and thanks for the good work you do.

I TRIED THIS RECIPE ONE DAY WHEN I WAS PRESENTED TO A SURPRISE VISIT. WE WERE 10 AND I ONLY HAD TWO SIRLOINS, SO I MADE A GARLIC SOUP FIRST AND THEY LICKED ON THEIR FINGERS.
SINCE THEN IT IS THE FAVORITE FOOD OF MY HUSBAND AND MY SON.
