Creamy spinach is a simple recipe, it is very soft with the bechamel and the egg is a claim to encourage drinking vegetables to the smallest of the house.

The truth is that they are delicious, in fact, the spinach It is not a dish that my husband or my eldest daughter is enthusiastic about, although in this way they love it. 

I usually prepare it with frozen spinach, previously thawed. Although I do make them with freshly cooked spinach sometimes. The steps to follow are the same.

    They are very tasty, just the other day I made the dough for coca and threw the spinach to the cream on top, I replaced the eggs with pine nuts, baked and I was fabulous.

    Well, I made this recipe and the flavor was very good but it had a very bad texture, so that you understand me, when you put it in your mouth the spoon does not stay clean, it was kind of sticky. I had to throw them away. Why was it? Thank you very much however for the recipes, I imagine it will be some detail that I have overlooked.

      Paula, I don't know very well what it could be, if you like béchamel and boiled spinach, you just mix it and put it in the oven with an egg and cheese on top. The texture should not be strange.

      Hello Mar, I hope to put the recipe in the next few days, I want to have it prepared for Christmas recipes. In case you want to make them, I'll give you the recipe:
      Ingredients for 24 pieces: 500 g water, 280 g flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 500 oil for frying.
      Preparation: Weigh the flour in a bowl, add the yeast and reserve. Put the water in the glass. Program 4 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.
      Add the flour at once and knead programming 15 seconds, speed 6. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes and fill the churrera.
      Make the churros and fry them in hot oil.

      Hello Elena, I make a diet béchamel with zucchini (I'll try to put the recipe shortly) and another way would be to make the normal one but with skimmed milk.
      I would not freeze this dish because spinach can run down.

    my children love spinach with béchamel sauce and I make the recipe that appears in the book «a new dawn» of thermomix 21. It is a recipe that is made with mushrooms, but instead of using them, I add spinach (as as the book suggests).
    The problem is that I get lumps of flour and I don't know why. I thought it was because I had the flour in the fridge (because in this way I prevent cuckoos from coming out), but today I have made them again with the flour at room temperature and the happy lumps have come out again. Could you tell me what is going on? Anyway I will try to make them as your recipe, putting the butterflies when you use the left turn and see how they come out because they look great.

      Ana, these lumps can be due to the flour that usually stays under the blades, if you can when you are making the bechamel, stop the machine for a second and move the possible remains that are under the blades with the spatula.

      Hello Barbara, yes you could without any problem. The only thing I recommend is to heat the spinach before putting it in the oven (for example in the microwave).
