Walnut and apple cake

walnut-cake

This cake tastes like autumn. I don't know if it will be the walnuts, the apples or the cinnamon but it has something that makes it a small pleasure this time of year.

No bits, because nuts They are not noticeable in that sense (Thermomix turns them into puree). Apples give it flavor and cinnamon flavors it in a special way. You will see, it is very juicy and I think you will like it.

And if you have nuts left over, look at these buns. They are ideal for the upcoming holidays.

In the recipe it says without egg, and in ingredients it has 3 eggs ???? ?

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

That "no egg" has crept into a section ... sorry !! In this case I did it with three eggs but I think it could be done without them because the walnut and apple puree I think would be a good substitute. If you dare, try it without eggs (mixing the sugar with the walnut and apple puree). I have it as one of my "earrings." Thanks!!!

How do you think it would be substituting carrots for apples? And for mango? What quantities?
    Thank you very much!

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

      Hello Mercedes,
For carrots, I think it's fine (use the same amount as apples, 340g). If you see that the dough is too thick you can add a little more milk.
And by the handle ... I suppose it would also be good, it would be a matter of testing.
      You will tell me 😉

  13.   PINK said

Hello Ascen, when the milk ingredient is in the cakes, what other ingredient can I substitute for it? is that at home we do not drink milk, only vegetable milk and not every day, so buying it just to make a cake I do not like too much, thanks in advance

    regards

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

      Hello rosa,
You will have to replace it with another liquid ingredient ... let's see what you think of these possibilities:
If you have any vegetable milk you can use it quietly instead of cow's milk. And, if not, you can try orange juice (if he asks for a lot of it, put part of the juice and part of the water).
You can also use just water and add a few tablespoons of yogurt, cow or vegetable milk, whatever you have at home.
I hope some option will help you.
      A hug!

      1.    Pink said

OK, I love all the options, thank you very much Ascen.

        Regards!!
