Water sponge cake flavored with anise

You will like today's sponge cake because of how easy it is to make and because of the few ingredients it requires. It is a water-based sponge cake that does not contain milk, cream, yogurt or butter, so it is ideal for people who, for whatever reason, they cannot consume dairy products.

What do you not like the anisette? Well, you can replace it with rum or another liquor that you have at home. If you want to do without alcoholic ingredients you only have to put 130 g of water instead of 100. In that case, put lemon zest and you will also have a great sponge cake.
