Wholemeal cookies

whole-grain-cookies-3

It is increasingly difficult for me to buy cookies in the supermarket because I do not trust the ingredients they contain. I'm not saying they are bad, but making them at home I control the type of fat we eat and I can even "play" with the flours. An example of this is today's recipe: whole grain cookies.

Encourage yourselves to prepare them because, with Thermomix, they are done in a jiffy. And if you can't use wheat flour, remember the rice crackers that we did the other day. There is no excuse not to make our own cookies!

Can butter be substituted for virgin olive oil? I have to be careful with cholesterol
Thank you, your recipes, I really like them.

      Thanks Azucena!
With olive oil I have not tried (yet). But how about you substitute it for mascarpone? It is lighter than butter and with this ingredient it is sure that they are also very rich.
      You will tell me.
      A kiss

What kind of yeast? Of bread? Of sponge cake?

    Thank you

      Hello Rachel:
It's the sponge cake, the one we sometimes call the Royal type. I'm going to modify it right now in the recipe to make it clear.
You'll see how delicious they are.

Can be substituted for lactose-free milk

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

Of course Rosa, they will also look good on you. But is it because you can't take lactose? If so, keep in mind that you will have to use lactose-free butter ...

      Hello Maria Angeles,
If it's the one you have at home, try making them with that flour. I think they will look good on you.

Hello, Ascen. I really like your blog because every time I look for more alternatives to what is packaged. I have made the cookies but with rice milk, which is what I use and they are delicious. My kids have loved it. Thanks!
