Apple dessert with Thermomix

Apple dessert

Before talking to you about today's apple dessert, I want to thank you for coming to see us the other day. Madrid Fashion Cake. It was a pleasure to be able to talk with you and put a face to some of the people who follow us on the blog.

Irene and I did a show cooking in which we prepared, only with a Thermomix and a microwave, some magic cupcakes topped with cheese frosting and the double strawberry shake featured in our book. The trip from Italy was worth it.

And we go there with this new Apple dessert. If you want to make a simple fruit recipe, here is an idea. Thermomix chops us and mixes all the ingredients and the oven does the rest of the work.

Keep it in the fridge and accompany it with any cream: custard, pastry cream or, why not, fruit jars. And if not, alone, which is just as rich.

How good it looks ... I have been given a bag of pears and enter the page to see if I found a recipe to spend them and I loved this.
Can you substitute apples for pears ??? Thank you….

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

      Hello Almudena,
Yes, yes, it will also look good with pears.
Here is another recipe in case you want to make this cake or at least the compote: http://www.thermorecetas.com/2013/09/22/tarta-de-manzana-ligera/. You will see how rich you are with pears.
You can even keep that puree as if it were a baby food: http://www.thermorecetas.com/2013/09/18/potitos-o-papillas-de-fruta-para-conserva/
      Take care!

hello, can you make this cake with applesauce, applesauce or apple jam instead of apples?

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

Of course, that's how you take advantage of that packaging. I'd say better with compote. The only thing, that you will have to reduce the amount of sugar in the cake if you see that the compote is very sweet ...
      Take care!
