Authentic Asian rice with prawns and soy sauce and lemon. Ideal for low-fat and low-calorie diets. Ideal for children and as a main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 carrot diced
  • 8 asparagus in pieces
  • 1 cebolla
  • 200 gr of peeled prawns
  • 200 g of rice (which we will have previously washed to remove the starch)
  • Soy sauce (to taste, I added 6 large tablespoons)
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Sunflower oil
  • 800 g of water

Preparation

  1. We put the onion in quarters in the glass and crush 5 seconds, speed 4. We withdraw.

  2. Without washing the glass, put a jet of oil in the glass and fill with 800 g of water. Place the basket with the rice inside. Program 15 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 2. Stir from time to time with the spatula so that the rice does not get caked.

  3. While the rice is being made, we are going to cook the onion, diced carrot and asparagus in a pan or wok with a drizzle of sunflower oil. Remove and cook the prawns for a few minutes on each side. We withdraw and reserve.

  4. We drain the rice and add another little oil to the pan or wok. We dump the rice and add the vegetables and the prawns that we had reserved. Cook for a few minutes and add the soy sauce and lemon juice. We mix and cook for a couple of minutes and that's it!
