Lactose-free pear and coconut smoothie

pear-and-coconut-lactose-free-smoothiethermorecetas

The other day at a gathering of friends I discovered this pear and coconut lactose-free smoothie. It is very easy to make and with a very authentic flavor.

I usually make it for a snack because it is fresh, full of vitamins and with only 70 kcal per serving. So it is perfect for a balanced diet. It is also suitable for lactose intolerant since coconut milk is within the lists of allowed products.

Depending on the type of pear we use, it may be more liquid or thicker. The trick to getting the perfect pear and coconut smoothie is to pick some pears that are ripe so they have more juice. If we see that our shake is very thick we can lighten it with a little cold water or adding a splash of coconut milk.

Remember that you can take advantage of the remaining coconut milk to prepare delicious recipes.

Where can I find coconut milk? I can't find it in supermarkets, I live in a town in the Basque country and I can't find it.
    Thank you and a kiss

      Hi Azucena:

here in Valencia it is quite normal to find it. Anyway, if you have the opportunity to go super large, you will find it in the international products area. It usually comes in a can like condensed milk.

      Luck in your search!!
