Lamb stew

Lately I'm a little tired of them types of meat, that if beef that if chicken or turkey. From time to time we also prepare pork but we are always in the same position.

Fortunately, there are other types of meat, but I can't always go on an adventure, either due to lack of time or because I don't have the right recipe.

So today I have opted for lamb. I do not know if the same thing happens to you but I have it very assimilated with Christmas and it seems that it cannot be eaten during the rest of the year. It shouldn't be like that since there are great dishes with this type of meat. The downside is that you have to consume it in moderation.

Maybe next time I go to the butcher shop I will dare to kid, ostrich or duck!!

Hello, this recipe looks good, but I don't see how much you put potatoes in the ingredients, I think you forgot. Another thing if instead of 2 people we want to do for 4 what ingredients and times you would double.
    Thank you

The problem is already solved, I completely forgot ... what a stew without potatoes !!

The "traditional" recipe that I have in my notebook is for 4 people and the ingredients are:

      1 k of lamb
      1 red pepper
      2 onions
      2 tomates
      3 potatoes
      2 cloves of garlic
      salt, pepper and oil.

I really don't see myself eating 250 lamb meat in the stew. I understand that the servings from before were larger than now, although if anyone dares ...

Kisses! (and thanks for the warning !!)

I don't usually eat lamb either, what's more, I don't think I've ever cooked it! The one I have tried is at my mother's house and always on special occasions. I feel the same way one of these days, I felt like seeing your recipe 😉 But I would also like to know if the quantities to make for 4 people are doubled.

200 g of potatoes, more or less!

This recipe is not valid, the sauce is tasteless and the potatoes are raw.

Wow! It seems that we have not got the recipe right. Even so, I will tell you a couple of things so that the next stew or stew comes out perfect.

The potatoes; There are many types so if you see that with 15 minutes they remain raw you can prolong the cooking.
About salsa, I'm not going to talk about what you think or what I think because it is already known that tastes cannot be discussed. But if you want it to be even juicier, you can substitute part of the water for a good jet of wine or brandy.
      Kisses!!
