Lettuce Cream

Faced with the success of the baked lettuce (How delicious, Mayra!), I bring you this Lettuce Cream, which is one of my favorite creams, and so we continue to investigate the possibilities of lettuce, beyond salads, which are many.

It is worth trying, you will see, it is very easy of doing, low calorie, and allows you to take advantage of those lettuces that are beginning to turn weak. You can make it with romaine lettuce, batavia, trocadero or Tudela hearts. If you don't know these varieties, you can find them all in this link.

Healthy, low in calories and very easy to make, this lettuce cream brings a new flavor to everyday creams.

Ingredients

• 120 g onion
• 150 g of leeks
• 250 g of lettuce
• 100 g of potato
• 2 garlic
• 6 mint leaves
• 250 ml water
• 250 ml of milk (I added semi-skimmed, but it can be any)
• 1 teaspoon of salt
• 50 ml of oil (half a beaker)

Preparation

1. Put the onion, leeks, garlic, potato and oil in the glass. We shred 5 seconds, speed 5.

2. Sauté for 5 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1.

3. We add the water, the salt and the mint. We cook for 15 minutes, 100º, speed 2. Without beaker.

4. We add the lettuce in pieces and the milk. We shred 5 seconds, speed 5.

5. We cook for 12 minutes, Varoma temperature, speed 1. Without beaker.

6. We let it cool down a bit and grind for 30 seconds, progressive speed 5/10.
