Orange Cookies

Today I propose some delicious Orange Cookies. They are very easy to make and are really delicious.

They do not contain yeast chemistry. We are going to make them with a little baking soda and a teaspoon of vinegar. Do not worry because it is not noticeable in the taste. It is important that as soon as we have the dough ready, we form the cookies and bake them. Only then, being quick, will they turn up the cookies. They came out to me 21 units. I did them yesterday and there are already 5 left… I won't tell you more.

Ingredients

  • 80 g of sugar
  • The skin of 1 orange (only the orange part)
  • 100 butter g
  • 1 egg
  • 25 g orange juice
  • 270 g flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 180º. We prepare the baking tray by covering it with baking paper.

  2. We put the sugar and the orange peel in the glass (be careful, without the white part). We program 15 seconds, speed 10. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

  3. Now add the butter in pieces, the egg, the orange juice, the flour and the baking soda. We program 25 seconds, speed 5.

  4. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass. Add the vinegar and program 5 seconds, speed 6.

  5. We form balls, with our hands, of about 25 grams and we are placing them on the baking tray already covered with baking paper.

  6. We crush each cookie a little with our hands or, as I have done, with the butterfly horizontally (this is how we make those slight marks that you see on the cookies).

  7. We put the tray in the oven, quickly. Bake at 180º for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown and well cooked inside.

  8. Let cool and enjoy!
