Portuguese style sardine pate

You have to try this sardine pate, Portuguese type. Our colleague Ana sent us the recipe. She liked it so much that she remembered us and wanted us to share it with you on the blog.

It's great for any celebration, for the children's sandwich or to put in the center of the table with a few slices of toast or with grissini.

Bring sardines, spreadable cheese, hard-boiled egg, and some ketchup. The texture it's great and the flavor… Delicious. Try it because you will like it.

A very easy sardine pate, made with simple ingredients. Perfect for celebrations, as an aperitif or for the children's sandwich.

Ingredients

• 1 can of sardines
• 1 hard boiled egg
• 1/2 tub of Philadelphia type cheese spread
• 1 tablespoon ketchup
• Bread to toast
• Parmesan cheese for garnish (optional)

Preparation

1. We drain the sardines. The canning liquid is not going to help us.

2. We put the drained sardines and the rest of the ingredients in the Thermomix and crush them in speed 10. We lower what is left on the walls of the glass and, if we consider it necessary, we grind again at the same speed.

3. We cut the bread and toast it.

4. At the moment of serving we spread the pate on the toasts and decorate them with a slice of Parmesan cheese.
