Muscat cheese and grape cake

This Muscat Grape Cheesecake is a delicious preparation of creamy cheese and chocolate blanco. The topping of grapes and muscat jelly is a perfect combination with the rest of the cake and very original.

If we do not like grapes we can put another fruit, such as cherries. And so take advantage of the season and enjoy in summer of a tasty and different cake.

These amounts are for a round mold 23 cm. diameter.

Elena, I love this recipe. I want to try it, but when you say cream cheese, what cheese do you mean? What kind of cheese is it?
I take this opportunity to tell you that I have tried many of your recipes and my family, they have all loved them !!!
Thanks for sharing so many delicious recipes!
    Happy New Year 🙂

Hello Elena, a question when we leave the gelatin in water is it diluted or spoken? What should we mix the water or the soft gelatin?

        1.    Elena said

Hello Rachi, the gelatin has to be soft, it does not fall apart and it is what you have to add, not the water. Once the gelatin sheets are soft, add them well drained of water. All the best.

Hi Elena, I love the recipes you put in, and I have a question.
Can you make this cake without an egg? It has a pint…. and I would like to do it, but I am intolerant to eggs ………
    Kisses and thanks in advance.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Piligonza, this recipe does not have eggs so you can make it perfectly being careful with the ingredients that would have used eggs for its preparation, you replace them with those that you can take and it will be perfect. Greetings and thank you very much for seeing us.

Merry Christmas to tod@s! I have several doubts, the first is which gelatin sheets should I buy, of any special flavor or brand?
Another is a truism, but looking at your beautiful photo ... how do you remove the seeds from the grapes? The parts are not in half?
Another is whether it can be made from one day to the next and whether it is kept in the fridge and for how long.
Excuse me that I still have doubts, but the other day I asked you what type of flour you refer to in the recipes (not desserts) and you told me that it is wheat; I have only found special wheat to fry or coat and I do not know if that's the correct one.

Thank you very much in advance for your responses, I am delighted with this blog, I just made the ingot for tomorrow and I hope it turns out well!

    1.    Elena said

Hello Elena, I buy seedless grapes, there are them in the Supercor and I suppose also in the Carrefour and in some other supermarket. I use Mandarin brand unflavored gelatin sheets (I buy them at Mercadona). It is better if you make it the day before and you have to keep it in the refrigerator.
With regard to flour, there must be normal flour that is not special at all. They are packages of 1 kg.
Thank you very much for seeing us. Greetings and Happy 2011!

Hello Elena, sorry I got confused about the ingredient, I just start to see all your recipes and I go crazy ... I am intolerant to eggs and chocolate. Can you remove the chocolate from this recipe? and Happy New Year Hugs

    1.    Elena said

Hello Piligonza, you can remove it and add the same amount of cheese or a little more, so that it is not too small. Greetings and Happy 2011!

  8.   Cristina said

    Hello
I have made it for New Years Eve, a success!
But when you cut it into portions, the gelatin would separate from the surface of the cut piece if you weren't very careful… could a trick be to grate the surface with a fork before adding the gelatin? as in the cake 3 chocolates.

For my taste, a lot of cream cheese comes out, that is, it comes out too high and little muscat gelatin, which is very good ... can I reduce the ingredients of the cream by 30% so that it comes out lower or is it outrageous?
    Thank you

    1.    Elena said

Hello Cristina, you can reduce the amounts to make it lower. I do not light the cake because when you put the grapes you can no longer, but you can try it between grape and grape.
I am very happy that you liked it, it is a very rich cake with a very beautiful presentation.
      A greeting.

  9.   nugget marti garcia said

Hello girls, the cake is very good, I have no words, and the presentation was very good, that they were delighted, I like the touch of chocolate, which takes away the salty flavor that the cheese has, very good, A KISS AND THANK YOU VERY MUCH

This cake is a luxury, the truth is that the presentation is spectacular and tastes great.
I'm glad you like it. All the best

It is the first time that I handle the gelatin and I have had a problem; by putting it on top it has gone out below and I have been recovering it as it cooled down,
but it looks great and is very easy to do. We'll see what my 5 children think tonight, I'll tell you.
Thank you for your help and you and everyone !!!!!!!!!! Peace in 2011 !!!!!!!!!!

    1.    Elena said

Hello Pilar, what a shame! That is that the mold is not well sealed and the liquid is leaking, I suppose that through the side closure. The next time you have to seal it with electrical tape or tape so that it does not leak, then you remove it to unmold it and it is perfect.
I hope all your children (my mother, how brave you are with 5 children, congratulations, Pilar!) Like it. Greetings and Happy 2011!

I want to make the cake with broken dough again, but one question, the gelatin if I add it only with the water mixture, how is it left? and taste ?.
I await your response, thanks in advance and best regards

        1.    Elena said

Hello Carmen, I think it will be a bit bland, with little flavor. You can put strawberries or cherries instead of grapes and it will be great. You will tell me. All the best.

  13.   Mabel said

Hello again Elena. I am hallucinating with the amount of recipes so curious that can be made. I have loved the idea of this cake, I really like muscat grapes; what I don't like is the fruit in the cakes, that's why my question is: could you make a jam with the grapes and spread it on the gelatin base? And if possible, how is the jam made?
    All the best. Thanks

    1.    Elena said

Hi Mabel, you can spread jam on top of the cream cheese and chocolate, but I don't know how it will stay with the gelatin base, it might slip and fall apart. To make the jam, look at the recipe. Any of the jams that we have, it's the same; grapes, sugar and a little lemon juice. I hope you like it, greetings.

Hello Elena, this cake has turned out very good, because it is very good but presentation zero or at least I did not like it 🙁 it has happened to me the same as to Pilar, the gelatin has been coming out of the mold. The mold is fine and when I close it, it seals perfectly, but I think that when I added the liquid gelatin, it was too liquid and the cream cheese was so curdled that it detached from the mold and the liquid has been straining through that hole. Well, another day I'll try another way.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Lana, what a pity that it has left !. I make it as it says in the recipe and I add the freshly prepared gelatin, but it escapes me nowhere and as you see in the photo it looks great. I hope that if you do it again it will be good. All the best.

  15.   inma said

Very good, I would like to make the cake looks exquisite, but I am going to make it, strawberries instead of grapes, you also have to add the jelly with the muscat? Or you can add jam and strawberries on top, thank you, greetings

    1.    Elena said

Hello Inma, it will be very tasty in both ways, both with the jelly and with the jam. Make it with what you like the most. All the best.

  16.   Carolina said

Hello Elena, this cake looks delicious and I would like to prepare it for my Dad's birthday, but I would like to ask you something: I live in Mexico and I don't know what curd is, can it be substituted for something else?

    1.    Elena said

Hello Carolina, the curd envelopes act as a milk-flavored thickener. You can substitute it for gelatin. I hope you can make them, it is very tasty. Greetings and thank you very much for seeing us from Mexico.

    Good!
The truth is that I already made this cake and it was a resounding success, it was over in the blink of an eye so thank you very much ..
Now I have a friend's birthday and she doesn't like grapes .. I was wondering .. what other fruit would look good?
Thank you very much for your recipes!

    1.    Elena said

Hello Marina, I have made it with cherries and it is delicious. Thank you very much for seeing us! All the best.

Hello Elena: I'm going to make it tomorrow for Sunday, Mother's Day, I'll put another fruit on it, I don't like grapes, what do you think of strawberries and orange segments? I leave the strawberries whole or cut them in half ?
Another question, you can't make the syrup in th.
Thanks in advance, as always, you guys are great.

    1.    Elena said

Hello Marisa, I think it will be better with strawberries cut in half. I made it with cherries and we loved it. The jelly can be made in the Thermomix but I make it in a saucepan to save time and not have to wash and dry the Th so many times. I hope you like it. All the best.

Hello Elena! I made this cake as a Christmas Eve dessert because I saw it at a Christmas presentation this year and I liked it. However, following the amounts that you provide at home, it turned out to be somewhat heavy although it tasted great. For eight people I think this amount is too much. Next time I will do it with the amounts that they provided me in the course, which are somewhat lower. However, and as I said, it has a very rich flavor. I take this opportunity to congratulate you on your blog. Although I do not usually comment much since I discovered it, I always took a look and I love it.

I wanted to say: "take a look", hehehe.

Hello, are the gelatin sheets you use from a specific brand? They do not all weigh the same.
