Have you ever had enough Spanish potato omlette one of those big tortillas we usually make when we go out on a picnic? Surely yes. Me too. That is why I have discovered this great harvest recipe that I propose to you today: the Tortilla Stewed.

It is a sauce, made from a sauce, in which the omelette, letting it macerate and soak in it. The result is a new and delicious dish, the result of a traditional Castilian recipe that we have adapted to Thermomix. You have to try it, it is delicious.

The stewed tortilla is a traditional recipe of use. It is a potato omelette marinated in a vegetable sauce that gives it a new texture and a delicious flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 potato omelette with 4 or 6 eggs.
  • 1 garlic clove
  • parsley leaves (a tablespoonful of leaves)
  • 1 teaspoon (of coffee) salt
  • 1 teaspoon (of coffee) paprika
  • 50 ml of aceite oliva
  • 130 g onion
  • 100 g of green pepper
  • 80 g of natural tomato (it can be canned crushed tomato or a small ripe natural tomato)
  • 1 teaspoon of flour
  • 1 red chilli (from the dried ones)
  • 400 ml of vegetable broth (or water with a bouillon cube)

Preparation

  1. Put the garlic clove, the parsley, half a teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 25 ml of water in the glass. We crush during 15 seconds at speed 7. We take out and reserve.

  2. Now we introduce the onion cut into quarters, the green pepper in large pieces, 25 ml of oil, half a teaspoon of salt and the chilli. We chop during 5 seconds at speed 5.

  5. Add the tomato cut into quarters and the teaspoon of flour. We program 2 minutes, 100º, speed 1.

  6. Add the mash that we have reserved and the broth (or the water and the bouillon cube). We cook for 15 minutes, Varoma temperature, spoon speed.

  7. We put the tortilla in a container, pour the hot sauce over it and leave steep for 5 minutes.

  8. We serve hot.

    Good Morning. I have bought that in the list of special recipes there are no for diabetics. Could it be possible that they put recipes for them?
