I present you this delicious almond cake with orange. If you like the flavor of almonds (it reminded me a bit of marzipan) and you are a sweet tooth, this is your dessert! In addition, now that it is still cool, it is very good to put the finishing touch to a good meal. It is a forceful dessert, powerful, with a lot of flavor, but at the same time it is a delicate dessert and that touch of orange gives it a delicious taste.
Es very easy to do and with very few ingredients. So I recommend that the almonds are of an acceptable quality, since it will be our main ingredient and protagonist and some bad or bitter almonds would directly ruin our dessert.
If you are very sweet, you will like this dessert hot or warm. If you are not so sweet, you can take it fresh from the fridge and with red fruits (as you see in the photo) that will give a good contrast and freshness to so much sweet. Either way, it's really delicious.
It is important that we use a wide mold, so that a short cake is left, since the flavor is so intense, a small snack is more pleasant. You can use the typical quiche mold of about 24 cm in diameter.
