Apple and caramel cake

Preparation

1. Separate the whites from the yolks. In our Thermomix glass we place the butterfly and add the whites. We program during 4 minutes at speed 3,5.

2. Remove the egg whites from the glass and without cleaning it add the following ingredients: 125 g of softened butter, 120 g of sugar and the 3 yolks. We schedule it during 40 seconds at speed 3.

3. Add the 120 ml of milk and program again 20 seconds at speed 3.

4. Add the 200 g of wheat flour and the 8 g of baking powder. We program during 1 minute at kneading speed.

5. We took the dough into a large bowl and mixed it with the whites that we had set aside. We will mix it slowly and with enveloping movements. Prepare a greased pan and pour the mixture inside.

6. We heat the oven to 180°. Peel the apples and cut them into small squares. Pour the apple over the surface of the dough and press inward.

7. We put the pan in the middle of the oven, with heat up and down, at 180°. We left it for about 20 minutes. The cake will be ready when we poke it inside with a kind of needle and it comes out clean, with no remains of dough.

8. In a frying pan, add the 200 g of sugar together with the juice of half a lemon. We put it on the fire and let it cook and burn slightly.

9. Let it cook until it turns a light brown color. We set it aside and pour it on the surface of the cake immediately. We let it rest, solidify and we can serve.
