Apple and grape crumble, with ice cream

This dessert can be served both warm and cold. It is made with fruit (in this case apple and some grape grains) and a kind of crumbled cookie dough that is what remains crunchy when we remove it from the oven.

To surprise everyone, especially children, we are going to present it in individual cups (oven-safe). They will be crowned with half ice cream because we know that the ice cream with the crumble is phenomenal.

If you don't have those ramekins You can use a single, larger baking dish and then serve the crumble in small bowls.

The ice creams that we have used are bought but you can also use a ball of homemade ice cream. I leave you one of our recipes in case you dare to prepare it: Dulce de leche ice cream

A simple dessert for any occasion

Ingredients

• 80 g cashew nuts
• 80 g whole wheat flour
• 50 g brown sugar
• 70 butter g
• 700 g apple
• 100 g of seedless grapes
• A splash of lemon juice

Preparation

1. We preheat the oven to 180º.

2. We put the cashews in the glass and program 10 seconds, speed 7.

3. We add the flour, sugar and butter. We mix by programming 20 seconds, speed 4.

4. Peel and dice the apples. We add a splash of lemon juice to prevent them from oxidizing. We cut the grapes in half and remove the seeds, if any.

5. We put the fruit mixture in individual ovenproof jars or in a large ovenproof dish.

6. On the fruit we are distributing the mixture that we have prepared in Thermomix and that we still have in the glass.

7. We bake at 180º for 30 or 40 minutes.

8. Once out of the oven, let it cool for a few minutes and serve with the ice cream.

Notes

To make the ice cream as seen in the photo we have to divide it in two, with a diagonal cut.
