Apricot, green apple and amaretto jam

Get ready to pack the best of summer with this apricot, green apple and amaretto jam. And it is that, since I cannot pack good weather or good moments, I have decided canning that when they open them they transport me directly to these memories.

During the summer months, apricots are at its best of flavor and texture. Also with such a beautiful orange color that the jam will be impressive.

With Thermomix canning at home is very easy because the device itself is responsible for heating and stirring. With which you only have to be attentive to the texture.

Do you want to know more about this delicious apricot, green apple and amaretto jam?

Before starting to make the jam I suggest you read this article by Irene on vacuum preserves. It is fantastic, very clarifying and ideal to lose your fear of pack at home.

When it comes to making jams, I like to prepare combinations that go a bit out of the classic recipes. I usually put apples because, thanks to pectin that it has, I make sure that the texture will be perfect.

Also you don't have to worry about the taste because the apple is quite neutral and allows the rest of the flavors to be appreciated. The result is a full-bodied, easy-to-spread and delicious jam.

I also like to add some kind of liquor to them and, in this case, I have used Amaretto that gives it a delicious almond flavor and that is very appropriate. You can substitute it for peach liqueur, hazelnut liqueur, or even cognac.

It is true that the liquor gives the jam a very special taste but, if you want, you can do without this ingredient. The jam will also be very rich and with the seamless texture.

You can use this jam to prepare toast for breakfast, to fill cakes or a gypsy arm or to make the typical bright icing of apple pie.

One last tip

Don't try to double the amounts to make more apricot, green apple, and Amaretto jam. At first it may seem that all the ingredients will fit in the glass but no, it is not. Since when heated increases the volume.

I tried it and it didn't work. I was a smart girl and I didn't have to make a mess to see it. So my solution was to split the content in 2 batches. Remember that there is nothing stickier than jam-splattered kitchen.
