A very interesting cake today, very showy and full of flavor: banana and chocolate marble cake. You are going to see how in each bite it is a total enjoyment because the banana part is super juicy and the chocolate part is full of cocoa flavor... a delight!

It is a perfect sweet for breakfast, for a snack... or really... for any time we feel hungry.

For us to stay with this marbled effect we only have to make 2 sponge cake masses. The good thing is that we start from the same dough that we will divide into 2. To one we will add the melted cocoa and to the other we will crush the banana. Then, you just have to put the cake in the mold in layers, alternating the layers of cocoa and banana and then stirring it slightly so that they integrate a little, without mixing completely.

Ingredients

  • 150 g of sunflower oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 175 g of sugar
  • a few drops of vanilla aroma
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 sachet of backing powder
  • 200g milk
  • 50g dark chocolate, fondant chocolate or cocoa powder
  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • 225 g flour

Preparation

  1. We put the eggs and sugar in the glass. We program 30 seconds, speed 5.

  2. Add the milk and oil. We mix 10 seconds, speed 5.

  3. Now add the dry ingredients: flour, yeast and salt. We mix 30 seconds, speed 5.

    Separate the dough into two equal parts.

  4. The first half is mixed with the chocolate. We melt it in the microwave in intervals of 30 seconds, power at 80% stirring each time until it is well melted. We booked.

  5. We put the other half in the thermomix glass and add the vanilla and the chopped banana. We mix 30 seconds, speed 5.

  6. We grease a mold with butter and add half of the first mixture. Add half of the second mixture on top. We alternate the two remaining layers with the first mixture and the second on top.

    With a spoon, stir gently so that the two layers intermingle, forming a nice drawing inside.

     

  7. We bake some 30-45 minutes depending on the mold you have used, 180º heat fan.
