Black bean stew with blood sausage and rice

Black bean stew black pudding chanterelles rice

I love this dish. It is a recipe that reminds me of myself childhood because since I was little my father has done it at home. It is delicious, and very suitable for these dates when the cold is already beginning (although this year it is being a slightly hot December ...).

We have used chanterelles that we had canned, but if you want you can use mushrooms thistle or any mushroom you like, fresh, frozen or canned.

Combining beans, blood sausage, mushrooms and rice it's downright delicious. It has a mild flavor and a very pleasant texture. When bringing rice, it is advisable not to cook it too much so that it does not overdo if we are not going to eat it immediately.

Hello Irene! How long do you have to leave the beans if they are not boiled?

    1.    Irene Arcas said

Hello Olga, first you would have to leave them to rest from the night before. Depending on the hardness of the beans they would be in about 45-60 minutes. So at point 3, first add the broth and the beans with the spices and cook them for about 40 minutes. Then add the chopped potato, rice and mushrooms and program for 20 minutes. Look to see how they are like this, I think they will be very good! 🙂 The only thing, be careful that it does not stay dry, so be careful and add more broth or water if necessary.
