Chicken and broccoli curry

chicken curry with broccoli

This recipe today is perfect for those who need to stop prepare food in advance (as is my case) that I am late to eat and I cannot start preparing food, or sometimes, we take the food to work. Today I bring you a chicken and broccoli curry accompanied by basmati rice.

Due to its ingredients, it is perfect as a main dish, which you can accompany with a starter of stuffed tomatoes or a pumpkin and mascarpone cream.

It is also a good start for those who are starting in the thermomix world, it will be perfect the first time!

    Hello Irene,
we are colleagues by profession. I am also a German translator / interpreter. Great recipe. A pity that with the reform of your page they can no longer be downloaded in PDF format. Please fix this. Thanks and best regards

The same thing that José Rogelio says happens to me, with the new website format it cannot be downloaded in pdf ... I hope there is a solution, it would be a shame.
    The recipe looks very good!

    Thanks and regards.

Hello Irene! I have never tried recipes with coconut milk and I am not very convinced ... is there an alternative for that? evaporated milk, cow's milk ... I don't know.

    1.    Irene Arcas said

Hello Ana, would you allow me to encourage you to try coconut milk? Look, I don't like coconut, or coconut milk fresh from the fruit, but this coconut milk that is used for cooking is really delicious. Its flavor has nothing to do with that of coconut, it is not so sweet or so "heavy". It is a product that combines perfectly with curry. Please give it a try. You will find it in specialty food stores and in the international (Asian) part of supermarkets. Remember to shake the bottle before using it, ok?
If you still do not feel like trying it, substitute it for anything to cook, it will be very tasty too, although it will not have that exotic flavor of coconut milk. You will tell me if I have convinced you or not! ; P

Hello Irene! First of all, congratulations on your recipes! I have made this recipe today but I think it has been very liquid ... I have used the brick coconut milk, which can also be drunk. Should I have used the canned one for cooking? Thank you very much in advance. All the best

Hi Erica, it's already modified. We can put the left turn when we cook the chicken. Thanks for writing to us!
