Surely many of you have made recipes like today's but using the traditional saucepan. Well, you can also do a chicken with vegetable sauce Great in our food processor, cooking the vegetables in the sauce in the glass while the chicken and mushrooms are steamed in the varoma.

In half an hour we will have it ready to take to the table. I like to serve chicken with White rice. The latter I cook in a saucepan while I make the meat and sauce in Thermomix. What do you prefer to cook rice in the Thermo? Well, do not hesitate and make it by following this great recipe.

We steam the chicken and mushrooms while we cook the vegetables with which we will make the sauce in the glass.

Ingredients

  • 400 g of vegetable (or chicken) broth
  • 130 g carrot
  • 20 g of celery
  • 65 g of green beans
  • Parsley
  • 400 g chicken fillets in strips
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper
  • 200 g of mushrooms
  • 30 g flour
  • 100 g of liquid cream for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • A dash of extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. We put in the glass the carrot, the celery, the green beans in pieces, the parsley and the broth.

  2. Brush the varoma container with oil. We put the chicken strips in it and add a little salt and pepper. 

  3. We put the lid on the varoma container, place it in its position and program 10 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1.

  4. We take advantage of this time to wash the mushrooms and cut them into slices. We put them on the varoma tray and reserve.

  5. We carefully open the lid of the varoma and mix the chicken with the spatula.

  6. We place the tray in its position, with the mushrooms. We put the lid on and program again 10 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1.

  7. At the end of the scheduled time, we remove the varoma from its position and reserve it.

  8. Add the flour, cream and lemon juice to the glass. We program 1 minute, 100º, speed 6.

  9. We add the mushroom slices that we just cooked in the varoma and the oil. We program 1 minute, 80º, left turn, speed 1. If necessary we add salt and pepper.

  10. We serve the chicken with our sauce and, if we want, with cooked white rice.
