The other day I dusted off my magazines "Christmas special" and I came across a recipe that, until now, had gone totally unnoticed.
I liked it because the main ingredient is thistle. A very typical ingredient of these dates. And that combined with the garlic bechamel is a very Christmas first course.
For this recipe you can use thistle leaves in boat or natural. If they are natural, they will have to be cooked in the Varoma for approximately 30 minutes.
I have used pot leaves and they have come out tender and rich. When buying, don't skimp and choose good quality ones, even so the recipe is very economical!
