Classic and traditional custard

Classic and traditional custard

A classic among classics! Traditional custard, made from eggs, milk and sugar. Super simple, super delicious, exquisite!

We have accompanied them with flaky Maria cookies and cinnamon, nothing more!

IMPORTANT: with the times of this recipe (8 minutes) we need to have the eggs and milk at room temperature. If not, we program 9 minutes, instead of 8.

How to serve them?

Custard is a very simple recipe, but it has some peculiarities. We leave you some tricks so that they turn out perfect:

  • You can serve them in individual bowls or jars, but you can also choose to use a single large wide font and pour all the custard there. Cover it with cookies and serve it in the center of the table and then distribute it into individual bowls.
  • If you are going to choose to serve it in individual servings You must remove the cream from the glass immediately so that the residual heat in the glass is not excessive and can cut the custard. How to do it? Once the programmed time has finished, we immediately pour all the contents into a large bowl and stir with a ladle so that it cools a little. From there, we start serving it in individual containers.
  • We must put the cookies When the cream is still hot, it is the way to keep them soft when they cool and we are going to eat them.
  • Must prepare them in advance, better if it is from the previous afternoon because the custard needs a few hours to cool and settle well in the refrigerator.
