Cocoa fitness shake

Our cocoa fitness shake is not just for athletes. It is for all those who want take care and they enjoy preparing healthy dishes.

It is a perfect shake for a snack because it is prepared in a couple of minutes, it is rich, it is satiating and suitable for everyone ...vegan, celiac and lactose and egg intolerant.

Although, without a doubt, what I like the most is that it is easy to transport. So I prepare it and take it to the workshop in my bottle. So when I get hungry I can enjoy a real treat knowing that all its nutrients are good and I they will fill with energy.

Among its ingredients we will find some well known and others less but do not be scared because they can be purchased in herbalists or health food stores. I'm also going to tell you a little about them so that they are more familiar to you:

The medjool dates It is larger than normal size. They are soft and very sweet that is why they are widely used in sugar-free diets to sweeten different preparations.

The cocoa nibs They are small fragments or pieces of raw Creole cocoa beans that provide, above all, antioxidants and also substances such as anandamide, theobromine, serotonin, phenylethylamine and tryptophan highly recommended to improve our mood.

La protein powder It is a widely used ingredient, not only by athletes. They are food supplements with a high percentage of protein and a low percentage of fat. And we already know that proteins are essential molecules that directly influence the growth and maintenance of muscles, bones, blood and the various organs of the body.

To make our cocoa fitness shake we can use the old trick of the transparent film. To do this, you just have to put a large piece in the mouth of the glass, close and beat. Then we remove the film and the lid will be clean. So we just have to rinse the glass and ready for the next recipe. I use this trick a lot, especially when I'm in a hurry and want to make juices and smoothies. It cannot be used with heat but for this type of recipe it is fantastic.

      Yes, it can be made with the milk or vegetable drink you want.

      And spinach can be eliminated if your diet does not allow it.
