Coral lentil meatballs

coral-lentil-meatballs-thermorecetas

En Thermorecetas we are fans of meatballs… But what a lot of fans !! Among our recipes you will find different types of meatballs and also sauces to accompany them. It is precisely for this reason that the time has come to try other mixtures and that less than to do it with some coral lentil meatballs.

This recipe has several very good characteristics: The first is that they are totally vegan. You already know that to have a healthy diet we must consume more legumes, cereals and especially fruits and vegetables. In addition, by mixing legumes and cereals, we get to ingest protein of high biological value.

The second is that they are made with lentils and rice so we can forget about the typical legume recipes. These meatballs help us complete our weekly menu in an original way.

And the third and not least is that the recipe for coral lentil meatballs is made gluten-free. So those who are allergic or intolerant can also enjoy this dish.

Can it be made with unpeeled lentils or is it fatal? Thanks a lot!

      Hello Beatriz:

If you use unpeeled lentils it will take longer to cook. So I recommend that you cook them until they are very soft.

      Regards!
