Crab sticks in their sauce

I really wanted to show you this recipe. I love the crab sticks And, the best thing is that there are many ways to prepare them. That is why today I wanted to bring you this recipe that I personally love. You are also going to prepare it in 15 minutes, so I see it perfect for a first or for a dinner.

The only downside is that we need a frying pan to brown the surimi or the crab sticks and that cannot be prepared in advance. But, you'll see, how children love them. Try it and tell me!

Hello Irene!! I love this recipe and I follow you every day. One question, I am celiac and I can not add the crakers because they have gluten, what do you recommend that I put it? Thank you

    1.    Irene Thermorecetas said

Hello Eva, the idea of putting something on top is that it is a crunchy food that contrasts in texture with the sticks that will have become very soft with the heat. I would throw some kind of gluten free toast on it. It's possible?

      1.    Eve said

Thank you very much Irene !! I will add pieces of gluten-free toast! I'm a novice when it comes to cooking and I'm sorry if I ask you any stupid questions !! How I like your recipes and what I am learning !!! Thank you very much, I'll tell you about it.

    Hello Irene!
Because they can't be Krisia's. Would they come undone ?, Thank you very much for your recipes !!

    1.    Irene Thermorecetas said

Indeed Maite, the Krisia with softer sticks, so if we put them on the grill they would be too soft and pasty. I have tried them and I tell you that the others are better to cook them, yes, for salad or eat them cold ... like the Krisia, none!

Hello Irene! I am from Mexico but I follow them daily for almost 2 years and I loved this recipe, I only have one question…. When you say cream, do you mean cream? Forgiveness! But some of the terms you use are different for us! I just want to clarify this point so as not to get wrong on the recipe. Thanks!!!

    1.    Irene Thermorecetas said

Hello Patty, welcome from Mexican lands! cream is indeed the cream, here we have cooking cream (with little fat) and whipping cream (with approximately 33% fat that is used for desserts and that can be whipped to use in cakes or ice cream) ...

We are more like single-dish meals, so we decided to adapt the recipe by making the sauce a bit abundant, adding it to a good pasta dish, and placing the crab sticks on top. Delicious!

    1.    Irene Thermorecetas said

What a good idea Ale, the truth is that I sometimes add this same sauce to the pasta, so I'm sure with the sticks too ... it was to die for! Well, look, I'm writing it down to do it soon, thanks for the idea!
