With your favorite cookie dough you can prepare some very colorful tartlets. The ones in the photo are made with a dough that has even cornmeal and corn flakes.

We are going to fill that base with a Butter very easy and we will decorate it later with brevas, which are now in season. If you do not have figs you can put pieces of peach or the fruit that you like the most.

A special, colorful and simple dessert for any occasion

Ingredients

For the base:

  • 40 g corn flakes
  • 80 g of sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 25g milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 5 g Royal type baking yeast
  • 250 g of wheat flour
  • 15 g of cornmeal flour (eye, cornmeal, not cornstarch)
  • 80 butter g

For the cream:

  • 4 yolks
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 400 g whole milk

Plus:

  • 8 figs approximately (it will depend on the size of the figs and the molds)

Preparation

  1. We preheat the oven to 180º. We prepare the molds, smearing them with butter and flour.

  2. We put the corn flakes cereals, the sugar, the egg, the milk, the salt, the yeast, the wheat flour, the corn flour and the butter in the glass, that is, we put all the ingredients of the base in the glass . We program 30 seconds, speed 5.

  3. We put the dough on the counter, on a sheet of greaseproof paper. We put another sheet of greaseproof paper on top and spread the dough with a rolling pin.

  4. We cut it and place it on the molds that we will have previously greased and floured. We will cut the dough keeping in mind that we also have to cover the walls of the molds.

  5. Bake at 180º for 10 or 12 minutes, until we see that they begin to brown.

  6. We take the tartlets out of the oven and let them cool.

  7. We wash and dry the glass.

  8. We put all the ingredients of the custard in the glass and program 90º, 7 minutes, speed 4.

  9. Let it cool, if we want, in the Thermomix glass itself, putting it in the refrigerator when it is warm. When the cream is cold, we whip it a few seconds at speed 7.

  10. Once we have also made the tartlets, we assemble our dessert.

  11. We unmold the tartlets and put the pastry cream inside.

  12. We put the chopped figs on the surface, as seen in the photos.

Notes

Depending on the size of the molds we will obtain more or less units.
