Marquise chocolate cake

Easy recipe thermomix chocolate marquise cake

As good chocolate lover I couldn't forget this recipe for chocolate marquise cake. It is one of the first cakes I made when I had my Thermomix® and I loved it, especially very cold, almost frozen, although this depends on taste.

I must also say that I am not alcoholic at all, therefore I usually take a little less than whiskey Well, the 50 g of the recipe is too much for me.

Su preparation is very fast and in about 15 minutes we have our cake ready to put in the freezer. Although it must be borne in mind that it has to rest for a few hours. I usually leave it overnight.

This recipe reminds me of its flavor to truffles de chocolate negro. I love!

I'm glad you liked it, the truth is that for chocolatiers it is a delight and I love it fresh out of the freezer, I can't resist it being tempered.
Thank you very much for visiting us.

I would like you to tell me that it is when it sets the temperature vroma I do not know it, and another is that I do not know where to buy the butterfly for the blades and my spatula has broken, can you help me, thank you very much and sorry for my heaviness

    1.    Silvia said

Jose María, the varoma temperature is the highest that the thermomix has, it goes after 100º and the butterfly comes with the thermomix, if you don't have it, get in touch with your salesperson, as vorwerk, which is the company that sells the thermomix, It works through representatives or sellers.

I'm going to try to do it this weekend, but I have a question.
do I have to turn the cake? If not, the plastic remains at the bottom and when cutting it does not stick?

    1.    Silvia said

Manuela, the film is put to pull it when you want to unmold it to another plate, because being frozen you cannot detach it from the mold if it is not by pulling the plastic.
I hope you get it right. All the best

Hello, this is the first time I see your page, I have loved it. I would like to make this cake, but could I remove the whiskey and put another drink or something that does not contain alcohol? Thank you very much for the recipes.

    1.    Silvia said

Welcome Sandra !! You have no problem removing the whiskey, although the truth is that it gives a very good touch to the chocolate and I am not alcoholic either, but it reminds me of the taste of truffles. I would put a little or if you prefer rum or any other liquor.
      All the best

Hello Silvia!!!! The cake looks excellent !!! One question, is it suitable for celiacs ???? Thanks a lot!!!

    1.    Silvia said

If this cake can be eaten by celiacs, the only thing to make sure that the brand of chocolate you use is gluten-free that some do.

A doubt. I have the TM 31 and my question is how to set speed 3 1/2 ?. I imagine it is between 3 and 4 but this has not been explained to me in the demo and I have it since recently. Thank you

    1.    Irene said

Eva, effectively the 3 1/2 is to put the speed selector between position 3 and 4. It's that simple!

  11.   Ana said

Can you explain to me how it is done, because I see two layers of chocolate, thank you.

  12.   Irenearcas said

Hello Cocoloco, so that the whites do not fall, you have to keep them in the fridge while you prepare the chocolate and then you have to integrate them with the mixture with enveloping movements and little by little, so they will neither fall nor cut. Lucky!

    Hello,

I really like your recipes. I'm going to try this one and I have a question.

Is a removable mold necessary or is a normal one enough and when removing it from the freezer, pull the transparent film upwards?

I need to make 2 cakes for several people and I only have a removable mold.

    Thank you very much
    Esther

    1.    Irene Arcas said

      Hi Esther,

The release mold is not strictly necessary, however, the presentation will be cleaner if you use it. So if you do it carefully when pulling the film, your non-removable mold will work for you.

Lucky!! You will tell me. A hug and thanks for writing us and for making our recipes 😉

Attention with this recipe, if you put whiskey it is not suitable for celiacs !!!!! Caution when putting labels that do not correspond.

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

Thanks Sonia. We have already corrected it. All the best!

    2.    Mayra Fernandez Joglar said

      Hi Sonia,

You can substitute the whiskey for Jack Daniels Black Label. I'm not a big fan of advertising but the cause well deserves it.

The Jack Daniels brand ensures on its website that its products are gluten-free.

… There is no reason not to enjoy this recipe! ; )
