Fried almonds in Thermomix

fried-almonds

If you want to prepare an easy and different aperitif for this weekend, take note of these salted fried almonds.

I haven't been to Murcia for a long time, but when I lived there, it was the usual tapa in many bars and they were really good. Fortunately there are things that never change so I imagine it will continue to do so. I have done them in Thermomix, using very little oil (only 20g) and without the need to stir or watch that they do not burn.

To fans of the gastronomy murciana I remind you that in the blog we have already published the sailors and zarangollo. Take a look if you do not know them because you will like them.

Can they be made in more quantity? It is that in my house they are not eaten, they are devoured.

      Hello Antonio,
Try it, because surely with 200 g it will also look good on you. If you want, increase the amount of oil a little but not much. Before publishing the recipe, I did tests covering the almonds in oil and the result did not vary too much.
      I hope you like them.
      A hug, Ascen

How good to know that you can also do and without fear of burning

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

      Hello reme08
You will see that they are not as golden as they can come out in the pan but they are also very good.
      Thanks for writing to us.
      A hug, Ascen

30 minutes is not a long time?

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

      Hi Isabel,
In the pan they are done in 10 minutes or less but here they take a little longer to brown. Anyway, try to stop the machine after 15 minutes to see what you think.
      Regards, Ascen

Hello, I have been given a lot of almonds, but to fry it I will first have to peel them from the brown skin that covers them ... how is it done? Thanks

    1.    Ascen Jimenez said

      Hi Sylvia,
To remove the skin you have to scald them, in boiling water. After they peel easily, you'll see.
      A hug!

      Hello Maria Rosa,
I don't know what you can do to get them back. Try to do them this way, you don't lose anything 😉
      A hug!
