Gnocchi with cream carbonara sauce

We always usually associate the carbonara pasta with spaghetti right? Well today we are going to use it to prepare some fabulous gnocchi that will be luxurious. The original carbonara does not contain cream, it is made from eggs and the pasta cooking broth. However, there is another version that is better known and extended to which cream is added and is also mixed with egg. In this case, we are going to do the latter.

It is a perfect dish to cook at the moment because the gnocchi cook in about 3 minutes. And then it is only to prepare the sauce with strips of bacon, cream and an egg. Perfect for an express meal! And you can leave them prepared in advance, and if the sauce has become too dry, add a splash of milk before heating them, when they are heating you stir them very well and you will see how creamy they become.

Very easy and fast carbonara-style gnocchi, with cream and bacon sauce. Perfect for an express lunch or dinner

Ingredients

• 500 g gnocchi
• 200 g bacon in strips
• 1 brick of cream 200 ml
• 50g milk
• 1 egg
• salt to taste
• pepper to taste
• oregano to taste
• nutmeg to taste
• 30 g olive oil

Preparation

1. We put 1000 g of salted water in the glass and heat 8 minutes, varoma temperature, spoon speed.

2. We add the gnocchi through the mouth and program 3 minutes, temperature 100º, spoon speed, left turn. We check that the gnocchi are tender.

3. We drain with the help of a strainer.

4. Without washing the glass, add the oil and the bacon and program 6 minutes, temperature 120º, spoon speed, left turn.

5. Add the cream, milk and beaten egg, salt, pepper, nutmeg and oregano. We mix 3 seconds, turn left, speed 2.

6. We add the gnocchi and program 3 minutes, temperature 100º, spoon speed, left turn.

7. We immediately pour into the dishes.
