Homemade Greek yogurt in varoma (TM6)

varoma greek yogurt

What a yogurt show please! We are going to prepare this time a homemade greek yogurt in the varoma in a super simple way. And really, it's delicious. You will see what a super creamy and addictive texture it has. SPECTACULAR!

We recommend using jars with a capacity of at least 120g with a lid, and if you don't have one, as simple as cover them with cling film and put them in the fridge.

You will see in the ingredients an element that can attract your attention: the ascorbic acid, which is nothing other than vitamin c powder. You can buy it at herbalists, pharmacies, food supplement stores, or directly on Amazon or other internet stores. If you can't find it, you can perfectly replace it with 30 g of lemon juice. But it is very important that you use one or the other, that is, it is essential because it has a basic function: that our blades don't rust of our thermomix, since we will have it fermenting for a long time.

This is the basic yogurt recipe, from here on, give free rein to your imagination! flavored jam, honey, nuts, coffee, chocolate, chopped fruit, red berries, cereals...

I want to ask if I can make the yogurt in the THERMOMIX cup and not in individual cups.
    Thank you!!

In this recipe you need to put the yogurt container in the varoma because the fermentation will take place thanks to the water that is evaporating from the glass. What you can do is use an elongated glass container (tupper type) to pour it only into a single container and not into several glasses. 🙂 Thank you for following us!
