Japanese vegetable tempura

Tempura_vegetables

La Tempura It is a Japanese frying technique, in which they are mainly battered vegetables o shellfish. It is a great way for those who find it difficult to eat vegetables, since each piece will be crunchy and also, we will dip it in a tasty sauce. And, of course, it is the perfect recipe for Vegetarians.

The important thing is that each piece must be eaten in one bite, so they must be cut small. Then they will be battered and fried in hot oil for 3 minutes.

It is important that it be cold in sunflower oil, because it will taste milder (and more oriental) than olive oil.

It serves as a fabulous starter and is usually accompanied by a salsa (Tentsuyu) made with broth, soy sauce and sweet sake, and if we like it, a touch of ginger.
