Lentils with pumpkin and chorizo

We are in the best moment to enjoy the pumpkin. We can add it to any stew, so today we are going to use it to make some delicious lentils.

We do not forget the sausage, which also appeals at this time of year. You can use fresh chorizo ​​(it is the one that mine has) or a few pieces of drier chorizo ​​string.

The good thing about cooking lentils in Thermomix is that they are just right, creamy ... without having to worry too much. Our beloved robot will be in charge of letting us know when they are ready.

Ingredients

• 50 g onion
• 135 g pumpkin
• 40 g olive oil
• 200 g of peeled natural tomato
• 1 teaspoon of paprika
• Sal Island
• 280 g of lentils
• 1 liter of water
• 2 fresh chorizo

Preparation

1. We put the onion and pumpkin in the glass, in pieces. We program 5 seconds, speed 8. We lower with the spatula what has remained on the walls of the glass.

2. Add the oil and the tomato, peeled and in pieces. We program 4 minutes, 120º, speed 1.

3. Add the paprika. We program 1 minute, 120º, speed 1.

4. We now add the water, the salt and the lentils. We place the basket on the lid, instead of the goblet. We program 30 minutes, 100º, left turn, spoon speed.

5. Add the chorizo ​​and program 15 minutes, 100º, left turn, spoon speed.

6. Let it rest for 5 minutes in the glass and serve.
